I will be sending weekly updates of my experiences on my mission to my sister and she will post them here for you! In the past, I have not been one to broadcast my beliefs. If you are going to follow my blog you must understand that I am committed to serving my Heavenly Father for 18 months to bring people unto Christ, and I will be talking about my religion and faith.

Some people may not understand why I would give up 18 months of missing school and of leaving Utah, a place that I love so much, to be a missionary. Let me tell you. I believe that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the true and everlasting Gospel that has been restored to the earth through the prophet Joseph Smith. I believe in God, the Eternal Father, and that He knows and loves everyone regardless of mistakes made, or whether or not you love Him back. I also believe in a Savior that came to earth to wash away all of our sins, if we are willing to turn to Him. I believe in families that last forever. I believe in the Book of Mormon, a companion to the Holy Bible, which explains the encounters of Heavenly Father's children on the American continent (like old time American Indians, cool huh?). I know and believe these things because of the Spirit that I feel when I hear about them, learn about them, and teach about them. I want to share my beliefs with those who are seeking truth and light in their lives. If nothing else, I want to serve the people in Long Beach, California. I want to live my life as closely as I can to the way Jesus Christ lived his, serving and loving everyone. I am excited for this journey and next chapter in my life! CALIFONIA HERE I COME!
